Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior to promote safety and professionalism. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and load management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating box trucks, forklift certification preferred but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes. Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment such as pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is highly desirable.
