LIBERTY SENIOR LIVING
is currently seeking an experienced:
DRIVER JOB SUMMARY
After notification the resident or community staff of transport needs, will make schedule to accommodate daily transportation. Will maintain a calendar of all transport plans to prevent conflicts. Will perform QA vehicle inspection before each use according to policies and procedures. Will maintain required safety logs of each transport vehicle. Ensures that routine maintenance is carried out on any vehicle driven to transport residents. Will establish and maintain a maintenance schedule for each vehicle used in transports. Assists residents in safely loading and unloading packages into the transport vehicle. Ensures all residents are able to safely and independently enter and exit the vehicle. Perform Concierge duties as needed. Perform Maintenance duties as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid state class C CDL Driver's License for operating the large passenger bus. Must be at least 21 years of age or older, must be of good moral character, and have a genuine concern for elders. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle with an appropriate driving record. Must have training and documentation of skill checklist completed prior to transporting residents. Must be willing to work with various department directors, residents, visitors, family members, and Community Must have the ability to plan, organize, and follow-up on work assignments. Must have the ability to make independent decisions and work well under pressure. Must have the ability to be flexible in performing different tasks.
