Using a handheld device, you'll complete vehicle check-ins, perform basic inspections, and ensure vehicles are ready to be moved efficiently through the yard. Receive and inspect incoming vehicles. Complete vehicle check-ins using a handheld device. Verify vehicle information and condition. Perform basic vehicle function checks, including starting engines and testing batteries. Document inspection results electronically. Coordinate with drivers and yard personnel. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines. What We're Looking For Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic experience using smartphones, tablets, or handheld devices. Strong attention to detail. Ability to read and follow instructions in English. Reliable and self-motivated. Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the yard for the duration of the shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience in receiving, inspections, warehouse, logistics, yard, construction, automotive, or inventory environments. Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with basic vehicle functions. Experience using mobile devices, scanners, or electronic checklists. Work Environment This position is based entirely outdoors in a vehicle yard environment. You'll spend your day walking throughout the lot, inspecting vehicles, and using a handheld device to complete documentation. Steel-toe boots are required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southwest Ranches, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
