This position consists of a dedicated weekly route from Miami, FL to Wichita, KS, transporting refrigerated freight safely and efficiently. The ideal candidates are professional drivers with strong long-haul experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and on-time deliveries. Duties Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers. Perform route driving to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and vehicle inspections. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations while on the road. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers. Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while on the road. Excellent time management skills with the ability to follow routes efficiently.
