Job Description

A flatbed truck driver is primarily responsible for the transport and delivery of goods, ensuring efficiency and timeliness. Following strict safety regulations, such as maintaining insurance coverage on the vehicle and keeping up with required maintenance checks Maintaining accurate records of cargo loads and deliveries, including time of departure and arrival, mileage, fuel consumption, and other pertinent information Following standard procedures when driving on interstates or other major highways Required Skills and Qualifications Class A CDL 2 years of experience driving a flatbed truck (or comparable vehicle) Clean driving record Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test Ability to lift heavy objects and secure loads Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations Experience with tarping and strapping loads Experience using a winch Hazmat certification preferred
