Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL/Class A Licensed Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and/or flatbeds. As a CDL driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of freight across designated routes. Your expertise in truck driving and load management will contribute directly to our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and/or flatbeds across assigned routes. Load and unload freight efficiently using moffett. Deliver freight accurately to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, routes, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delivery updates, or issues encountered on the road. Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or other specialized trailers as needed for safe transport. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery operations. Ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or manual methods safely and efficiently. Knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving, including DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance standards. Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers.
