MTM Transit , in partnership with Heartland Rides, is looking for a Full Time, Non - CDL Driver to join our team in Okeechobee , FL . We currently have training classes that start regularly! This will be a "park-out" position. Three weeks of full-time paid training will take place at our main office in Sebring. After training, the employee will take a company vehicle home and would be stationed in the Okeechobee area.

Experience, Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Must be 21 years of age or older Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License or ability to obtain No driver's license suspensions/revocations for moving violations in the last 3 years No more than five traffic violation points in the past 12 months No serious traffic violations including reckless driving in the last 5 years No DUI/DWI convictions Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening Must pass criminal background check investigation Valid authorization to work in the United States Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

Skills:

Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic device Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Ability to communicate with others and comprehend instructions Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedules Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulations Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area

What You'll Do:
