Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, tractor-trailers, and roll-off trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using proper techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies Manage route driving responsibilities, optimizing delivery schedules for punctuality and efficiency Transport goods via refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks depending on the delivery requirements Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver, preferably with freight transportation experience involving various truck types such as flatbeds or refrigerated trailers Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck types operated (e.g., tanker endorsement) Hands-on experience with manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with operating specialized equipment like forklifts or dump trucks is a plus Knowledge of route planning, load & unload procedures, and safety regulations for commercial driving Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting freight and securing loads safely Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting skills Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills propel our operations forward!
