If you have experience driving an ASL, Curotto Can, automated side loader, residential garbage truck, rear loader, front loader, or other refuse collection vehicle, we want to hear from you. This isn't an over-the-road CDL job. You'll work locally, operate specialized waste collection equipment, and provide an essential service to the communities we serve. Job Responsibilities Safely operate a Waste Pro truck on a pre-established route in accordance with Decision Driving principles, company policies, and applicable traffic laws. Collect and transport garbage, refuse, recyclables, and other approved materials along assigned routes. Unload collected materials at landfills, transfer stations, or other designated disposal facilities. Deliver Waste Pro's Distinguishably Different level of service by providing courteous, prompt, and professional customer service. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while supporting company, customer, and municipal service goals. Ensure garbage and recyclable materials are collected and transferred properly, including back-door service when required. Identify and tag improper containers, prohibited materials, or other service issues in accordance with company procedures. Perform required daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Waste Pro procedures and DOT requirements. Complete daily Safety Lane inspections and DVIRs, including inspection of the engine compartment, undercarriage, tires, fluid levels, lights, and other critical vehicle components. Maintain a clean and professional vehicle, including routine interior cleaning and scheduled exterior washing. Check and maintain appropriate vehicle fluid levels and tire pressure as required. Perform manual clean-up of scattered refuse and other materials when necessary. Safely operate truck hydraulics and other equipment used to lift, empty, load, or move containers. Prepare, maintain, and submit all required company records, inspection reports, route documentation, and regulatory paperwork. Maintain responsibility for the safety of all employees assigned to work on or around the vehicle during the designated route. Follow all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT), state, company, and safety requirements for commercial motor vehicle operators. Promptly report safety concerns, mechanical issues, route problems, accidents, or service concerns to dispatch or management. Outstanding Benefits to our Team

Must have a clean driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older. Knowledge of refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices. Knowledge of DOT regulations and applicable state requirements for commercial motor vehicle operators. Ability to safely operate front-load, side-load, rear-load, roll-off, or other refuse collection vehicles, including equipment with a right-hand driving position. Ability to follow all traffic laws and safe, defensive driving practices. Ability to safely operate and manipulate heavy-equipment and hydraulic control levers. Ability to follow designated collection routes and work schedules. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to maintain accurate written records, service documentation, and required paperwork. Must be able to speak and read English sufficiently to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch, and supervisors; understand highway and traffic signs and signals; and complete required paperwork legibly. Ability to hear within the normal audio range, with or without correction. Ability to see within the normal visual range, with or without correction. Ability to perform the range of physical movements necessary to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned. Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro. Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
