Full-time Position Summary:
Perform the duties as a driver providing scheduled transportation for our residents. Perform duties under the General Maintenance category.Position responsibilities:
- Operate company owned transportation vehicles in a safe and professional manner in support of the published schedule. Proper attire
- Assist the residents when necessary with entering/exiting the vehicles and with their personal belongings.
- Provide medical transportation utilizing the handicap van and ensure security of any and all resident support equipment.
- Provide operator duties in the event of evacuations.
- Inspect vehicle prior to and after daily operations to ensure cleanliness, fluid levels, etc.
- Assist in other areas as directed.
Communication:
- Understands and adheres to department policy and procedures.
- Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner at all times
- Resolves conflicts respectfully and in a timely manner, asks for assistance as needed.
- Participates actively in department team and all staff meetings.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
