Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting flatbed loads across various routes. This role requires experience with different types of trucks and trailers, including 40' flatbeds. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight and live plants and trees. Duties Operate various types of trucks including Hotshot Trucks equipped with 40' gooseneck flatbeds. Safely load and unload freight while adhering to all safety regulations. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate log books, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with our dispatcher regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Skills Proficient in driving large trucks and trailers. Experience with maintaining DOT safe truck and trailer. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight if needed in emergency. Familiarity with route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency. Experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Capability to handle freight safely and securely during transport. This position is essential for maintaining our logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable service.
