PODS is seeking a reliable Local Class B CDL Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you'll safely operate a Class B vehicle to deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. You'll perform thorough vehicle inspections, secure loads, and use material-handling equipment while strictly following DOT and PODS safety standards. As the face of PODS on every stop, you'll provide courteous, solution-focused service and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries in your local area. This is a full-time, field-based role with consistent local routes and the ability to be home daily. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B CDL vehicle to deliver and pick up PODS containers on local routes Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and follow all DOT and company safety standards Secure, load, and unload containers using company-approved equipment and procedures Provide professional, courteous service and problem-solve on-site customer needs Follow assigned schedules, maintain electronic logs, and communicate with dispatch Report vehicle issues, incidents, or delays promptly and accurately Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and represent PODS professionally in the field Required Skills Class B commercial driving Vehicle safety inspection Local route navigation Load securement and tie-downs Basic mechanical troubleshooting Use of liftgates and material-handling equipment Electronic logs and basic dispatch systems Customer service and communication Time management and scheduling Knowledge of DOT regulations
