In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating our mobile ice cream shop, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience for all. Your enthusiasm, excellent driving skills, and customer service expertise will help create a fun, friendly atmosphere while maintaining safety and efficiency on every route. This position offers an exciting opportunity for self motivated individuals. To be hired the applicant must pass both a background and a driving record check. Due to insurance regulations applicant must be at least 25 years old. Responsibilities Safely operate the ice cream truck along designated routes, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Manage pricing and sales transactions accurately, including handling cash and electronic payments Engage with customers in a friendly manner, building positive relationships and enhancing sales Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform safe lifting practices when handling merchandise and supplies, and ensure the truck is well-maintained Merchandize products effectively within the truck to attract customers and maximize sales opportunities Coordinate with team members or event organizers for special promotions or community events Experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Prior retail store experience or customer service background that demonstrates strong communication skills.
