Heyl Truck Lines, a family-owned dry van carrier, seeks a Regional CDL A Truck Driver for consistent freight across assigned regional lanes. Operate late-model equipment, haul dry van loads for major shippers, and maintain strict safety and DOT compliance. Perform pre/post-trip inspections, manage ELD logs, and ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes hauling dry van freight Maintain full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, including accurate ELD logs Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects Ensure on-time, damage-free pickup and delivery of freight for major shippers Secure loads properly and follow company safety procedures at all times Communicate proactively with dispatch and operations about routes, delays, and issues Manage hours-of-service to optimize miles while maintaining safety standards Provide professional, courteous service to customers and shipper/receiver staff Care for assigned equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented culture focused on reliability and integrity Required Skills CDL A truck driving
