In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of landscaping and construction vehicles, transporting materials, and supporting the maintenance and enhancement of high-end residential landscapes. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication to quality will ensure our clients receive exceptional service and beautifully maintained properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving skills with landscaping craftsmanship in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Safely operate trucks, excavators, and other heavy machinery to transport plants, soil, mulch, and landscaping materials to residential sites. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to ensure equipment is in top condition. Collaborate with landscape crews to execute detailed landscaping projects, including tree trimming, lawn care, gardening, and snow plowing during seasonal changes. Manage pesticide application procedures responsibly while adhering to safety regulations for plant health and environmental protection. Maintain accurate logs of materials transported, work performed, and equipment used for project documentation. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on landscaping machinery and power tools. Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, including lawn care, gardening, tree care, and hardscape installation. Proficiency in plant identification and horticulture practices to support healthy growth and landscape aesthetics. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, repair, and management to ensure efficient water use. Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and snow plowing equipment safely and effectively. Construction experience related to landscape projects such as retaining walls or outdoor structures is highly desirable. Ability to follow safety protocols related to pesticide management and equipment operation while maintaining a clean work environment.
