CDL class A Driver Mystic trucking Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications CDL A Full Job Description Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL Class A Driver and take the wheel of our state-of-the-art tractor-trailers to deliver freight efficiently and safely across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to navigate over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, handle various types of cargo including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, flatbed loads, and tanker shipments. As a vital link in our logistics chain, you will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving will help us uphold our commitment to exceptional service and safety on every journey. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers on OTR routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA and DOT regulations to ensure compliance and safety. Transport freight such as refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, flatbed loads, and tankers across regional or national destinations. Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor traffic conditions, and adjust schedules as needed for timely deliveries. Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of freight including dangerous goods and logistics cargo handling standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, especially when hauling specialized loads like refrigerated trailers or tanker units. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries, report delays or issues, and ensure smooth operations throughout the delivery process. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently in various driving conditions. Experience with refrigerated trailer operations, hazardous materials (Hazmat), flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation is highly preferred. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient route driving. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT safety standards related to truck driving and freight handling. Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures, truck loading/unloading techniques, and logistics cargo handling.
