Performs community errands as assigned and ensures that all trainees who use the transportation are returned safely to the building. Errands include weekly grocery trips to and from local stores. Long distance trips will include travel to and from Miami, and Orlando airports for trainee pick-up and drop-off. Weekly excursions to various Florida attractions. Driver will be expected to showcase professionalism at all times while interacting with trainees, leaders and guest of Skyborne Airline Academy. Requirements Skilled in safe and efficient operation of a passenger bus or vehicle. Operate assigned vehicle responsibly and safely and in accordance with state motor vehicle laws. Observe all traffic laws, rules, and regulations. Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Valid CDL License. Exercise independent judgment, initiative, and courtesy to the public. Pre and post service vehicles, reporting deficiencies to the facilities supervisor. Maintain operator records required supporting the system data base which includes mileage, fuel, passenger counts, and other operating data as may be required. Other duties as assigned by the department Manager. Contingent to employment, all candidates must pass a drug screening and background check, along with TSA badging-if required for your role.
