Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Driver and take on an energetic role that keeps operations moving smoothly! In this position, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving, route navigation, and vehicle handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our logistics network, supporting our commitment to excellent service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Manage delivery schedules proactively to meet deadlines and optimize route planning. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with company policies. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and various truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment like forklifts when necessary. Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan optimal routes for timely deliveries. Experience with tractor-trailer operations and handling specialized freight such as refrigerated or hazardous materials is a plus.
