CDL CLASS A

Drivers Needed for Yard Spotting 53' Trailers on site moves. Day shift position 6am-6pm and 4 shifts each week from Sunday=Saturday. 48 hours every week (4 days a week 12 hour shifts) $22.50/hr and time and a half after 40 hours. $1,170 before tax weekly deposit. 6 month and 1 year pay increases 3 days off every week. Rotating weekday and weekend schedules every other week. The job will require moving an average of 30 trailers per shift.

Other duties include:

• moving jack stands
• tying trailer doors
• cranking landing gear
• performing visual 5th wheel inspections to confirm engagement of the tractor and trailer
• interacting with the customer and Tern Services, Inc. personnel
• performing yard checks
• various other duties The right candidate is in good physical shape with an active lifestyle.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1 year minimum recent experience spotting 53' trailers in a conventional tractor, day cab or spotter truck like Ottawa or Capacity. Class A CDL and Clean MVR. No clearinghouse violations. DOT preemployment drug screen required before start date. Has a current DOT physical good for 1 year minimum. We can schedule a physical if yours is not current. Must be reliable and dependable. Arrive to work each day on time and no callouts.
