IXP Logistics, a reputable transportation company, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Local Truck Driver to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of professional driving experience, a clean driving record, and possess excellent skills in backing up vehicles.Responsibilities:
Safely operate company-owned trucks during deliveries. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle (daily submission). Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Perform basic Maintenance when required (i.e. change lightbulbs) Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements. Be able to drive a 300-mile radius (one-way) Must be able to travel to other states for daily trips Must be able to do paper logs Ability to operate trucks and back up with precision. Ability to operate a manual truck. Ability to operate a 60-65 feet Day Cab. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Minimum of three years of truck driving experience. Good driving record with no major violations. Must have transportation to get the location of the company truck in Forest Park, GA. Be able to drive a 300-mile radius (two-ways) Strong commitment to safety and customer service. As part of the interview process, you must demonstrate your ability to complete paper logs and drive a manual transmission truck. You will also be required to perform and record a pre-trip and post-trip inspection. These are mandatory requirements for the position, so please do not apply if you cannot meet them.Benefits:
