About Us:
We are a growing and fast-paced team trucking company committed to safety, compliance, and hiring top-quality drivers. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance & Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in both driver onboarding and DOT compliance.
Position Overview:
The Compliance & Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for managing the full-cycle hiring process for CDL drivers while ensuring all regulatory and safety requirements are met. This role is ideal for someone who understands FMCSA regulations and thrives in a fast-moving environment where accuracy and efficiency are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Onboarding:
Source, screen, and recruit qualified team CDL drivers Conduct pre-screen interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications Manage the full hiring process from application to onboarding Verify employment history and references Coordinate orientation and onboarding schedules Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed (MVR, PSP, drug testing, clearinghouse, etc.) Pair drivers together if they are not already an existing team
Compliance & Safety:
Maintain accurate Driver Qualification (DQ) files in compliance with FMCSA regulations Review and evaluate MVRs and PSP reports Ensure all drivers meet DOT and company requirements before hire Coordinate drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment and ongoing) Assist with audits and ensure readiness for DOT inspections Stay up to date on FMCSA laws and industry regulations
Administrative Support:
Maintain organized and up-to-date records Track compliance deadlines and hiring progress Communicate effectively with drivers, applicants, and internal teams
Qualifications:
Experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance requirements Familiarity with PSP reports, MVR reviews, and employment verifications Experience with driver recruiting and onboarding processes is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems Why Join Us?
