Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CDL Truck Driver to join our team and drive excellence across our logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of a fast-paced transportation network that values professionalism, efficiency, and safety. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Manage route driving responsibilities with precision to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Secure freight properly for transport, ensuring load stability and safety during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, inspections, and any incidents or anomalies during trips Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery across diverse cargo types Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and handling specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations, flatbed securing techniques, tanker handling, and dump truck or roll-off truck procedures Strong understanding of route planning and navigation to optimize delivery efficiency Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety and compliance with DOT regulations Ability to load & unload freight accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines Experience with commercial driving licenses (CDL) including endorsements for different vehicle types as applicable Join us if you're passionate about delivering excellence on the road!
