We are seeking a reliable Class A truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and at least three years of verifiable over-the-road experience. This full-time position offers consistent local routes with plenty of overtime opportunities, allowing drivers to earn additional income while maintaining a balanced schedule. The driver will be responsible for operating manual transmission trucks, adhering to safety regulations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods within the local area. Candidates should be comfortable being at home five nights a week and off on weekends, providing stability and routine.
Responsibilities:
Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving operations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance needs. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding schedules and delivery updates. Adhere to company standards for customer service, professionalism, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
At least three years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience with a Class A CDL. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to operate manual transmission trucks. Smartphone proficiency for communication and navigation purposes. Reliable, responsible, and committed to safety standards. Able to be at home five nights a week with weekends off.
Pay:
$800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
