Class A CDL Driver Tucker Door and Trim - 3.6 Monroe, GA Job Details Full-time 5 days ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Automobile transportation CDL A Full Job Description We have immediate openings for Class A CDL drivers in Monroe, GA. Since 1967, Tucker Door & Trim has been a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry. Our ever-growing fleet of tractor-trailers make regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and DC. Why Join us Pay by the hour, Over time pay! Time and half over 40 hours per week Layover per diem ($100 per layover) No more than two nights out per week Company paid hotel room on layover Monday thru Friday (no weekends) New model equipment, well maintained Dedicated runs Paid training Pay based off of ELD Requirements 18 months of proven CLASS A Truck Driving Experience within the last 36 months No major moving or driving violations within the last year Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software Ability to sit, stand, enter and exit the truck and trailer continuously over long periods of time Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections Ensure that delivery schedules are delivered as scheduled Retain all necessary documents for each trip Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations We are an equal-opportunity employer.
