Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Local CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team! Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure efficient load handling and timely deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics operations while maintaining high safety standards and providing exceptional service to our clients. Drivers is home daily and works locally out of the port. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport goods across designated routes. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing excellent customer service. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during daily operations. Requirements 24 months of valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the types of trucks operated. Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver with a focus on local routes. Experience operating various truck types such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump truck, tractor-trailer, and flatbed vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading or unloading processes. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
