We are seeking dependable CDL-A or CDL-B Yard Mule Drivers to support distribution center operations by safely moving and positioning trailers throughout the yard and dock areas . This local driving role offers steady hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to play a key role in keeping freight moving efficiently. Job Duties Move trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and yard locations Spot trailers and containers in designated locations Execute trailer moves using the Yard Management System (YMS) Operate switcher trucks and yard tractors safely and efficiently Maintain organization and traffic flow throughout the yard Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues Follow all safety policies and operational procedures Driving Requirements Valid CDL A or B license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Previous yard mule, yard hostler, switcher, or tractor-trailer experience preferred Strong understanding of trailer movement and yard safety procedures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot - discounts on almost anything you want to buy What You Will Do As a Yard Mule Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service. A Yard Mule Driver combines safe vehicle operation with dependable customer service to support the movement of goods between businesses, distribution centers, and customers. The position requires responsibility, attention to detail, and strong decision-making skills.
