Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Takes direction from leadership with a positive attitude. Manually transfers goods from gaylord to baling machine. Operates baling machine to compress goods into bales. Open chamber doors and remove bales. Glasses, gloves, and safety vest required. Wire feed and tie up bales Safely operate a forklift and/or front loader. Sweep, dust, and/or vacuum daily. Responsible for following and complying with all safety rules and for using appropriate safety equipment. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment Performs other related duties, as assigned. Safeguards company property. Reports any incidents of theft or misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Skills:

Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks, order pickers, and hi-lo equipment Experience with heavy equipment operation in a warehouse or production setting Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols related to forklift operation Ability to load and unload materials, ensuring proper stacking and securing techniques Strong attention to detail to accurately track inventory movement Physical strength and stamina to handle repetitive motions - bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
