Helicopter Express is accepting applications for full-time, experienced Utility/Fire Bell 429 Mechanic with CDL qualifications.
Come join Helicopter Express, one of the largest utility helicopter operators in the United States. HX has been in the aviation industry for nearly 3 decades. Our missions include aerial crane and construction, firefighting, disaster relief, aerial cinematography and charter. Our fleet includes a full spectrum of utility helicopters to include the Bell 407HP, 429, 205A1++ and the 412EPX, the Airbus AS350B3e, the Kaman K-max and the Sikorsky S-61, S-64E and S-64F.
In 2023, we moved HX headquarters into our beautiful new 30,000 sq/ft hanger as part of our own aviation ranch on company owned acreage in northwest Georgia. Along with our new HQ, we have facilities in both Lubbock, TX and Medford, OR.

Job Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug/Alcohol screening.
Must have a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License for at least 2 years.
Must have actively worked as a certified A&P mechanic for at least 18 months out of the last 24 months.
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience on the Bell 429 or completed the factory airframe and engine schools.
Must have 3 months of field experience (with little or no supervision) working on the Bell 429.
Must have or be able to obtain a USFS Mechanic Qualification card by meeting the above qualifications.
Must have or be able to obtain a Class C CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsement.
Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.
Preferred Inspection Authorization but not required.
Schedule to be 12 Days on and 12 Days off.
Aircraft home based in Ocala, FL.
