Driver for Veltrus LLC, you'll safely transport freight throughout the United States while representing our company with professionalism. Our primary freight includes Dry Van , but drivers should also be willing to pull Flatbed and Reefer trailers as business needs change. This position requires drivers who are comfortable staying out 2-3 weeks at a time . Home time is negotiable with proper communication and planning. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer throughout the United States. Transport Dry Van, Flatbed, and Reefer freight. Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Deliver freight safely and on time. Maintain communication with dispatch throughout each trip. Report maintenance concerns immediately before they become costly repairs. Keep company equipment clean and well maintained. Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety regulations. Represent Veltrus LLC professionally with customers, brokers, and shippers. What We're Looking For We're looking for a professional driver who: Holds a valid Class A CDL. Has OTR driving experience. Is willing to stay out 2-3 weeks at a time . Understands that communication is part of the job. Has basic mechanical knowledge and can recognize common truck issues before they become major repairs. Takes pride in keeping equipment clean and well maintained. Is dependable, punctual, honest, and safety-minded. Is willing to pull Dry Van, Flatbed, and Reefer freight. Wants to build a long-term career instead of jumping from company to company. Compensation Earn 20% of gross load revenue , with the opportunity to increase to 30 % based on performance, communication, safety, reliability, and commitment to the company. Weekly direct deposit. Your first week's earnings will be held and paid out after the following payroll cycle. After that, you'll be paid weekly according to the company's regular payroll schedule.
