Duties Safely operate commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Manage route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery documentation Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients through friendly, professional communication Conduct merchandising activities at retail locations, including product placement and inventory checks Perform heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or equipment to prevent injuries Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales outcomes Organize daily routes for maximum efficiency, utilizing organizational skills to optimize travel time and reduce delays Experience Demonstrated ability in customer service and client relationship building, with excellent communication skills Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and inventory counts accurately Knowledge of pricing strategies and sales techniques to support upselling efforts Experience in merchandising, retail store operations, or heavy lifting enhances effectiveness in this role Strong organizational skills to manage route planning, documentation, and time management efficiently
