Summary As a Residential Driver at Waste Eliminator, you will play a vital role in our operations by safely operating a medium-duty truck to perform assigned duties on a residential garbage collection route, providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and state/federal requirements. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using a tablet, noting all issues needing review or repairs. Completely empty containers leaving area clean and free of debris while ensuring can does not block driveway or traffic. Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding any unsafe situations before attempting service. In the event of blocked containers, missed pick-ups, or other issues affecting route completion, document in tablet software. Communicate customer requests or issues with Operations Supervisor or Customer Service. Follow route assignments throughout the day and complete all documentation after route completion. Be willing to assist other teammates as needed to complete routes in a timely manner. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations. Participate in company training sessions and meetings as required. Requirements Must be at least 25 years old. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Valid drivers license and DOT med card. 2 years' operating a vehicle, such as a delivery truck, box truck, etc. Knowledge of the NE Georgia area. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
