Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and trustworthy Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and removing trash carts from homes in the Greater Atlanta area. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods using equipment such as lift gates and forklifts Navigate assigned routes effectively while managing time efficiently to meet delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and inventory counts. Communicate with management regarding any issues or delays encountered during deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during the delivery process. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Trash industry experience is a plus. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is beneficial. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
