CDL A Regional Dry Bulk Truck Driver | Gainesville, FL to South Georgia | $1,300-$1,500/Week | $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Schwend Inc. is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Bulk Truck Drivers who live in the Gainesville FL, Cordele GA, Donalsonville GA or Waycross GA areas. This position runs primarily throughout FL, GA, AL, NC, and OH, hauling dry bulk agricultural products. Schwend is a family-owned and operated company serving the Southeast since 1976. CDL A Truck Driver - Job Highlights $1,300-$1,500 average gross weekly pay $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid at $100 per week $30 nightly per diem Additional $75 weekend pay when spending the weekend out Home most weekends Typically out Monday-Friday Occasional Saturday deliveries and Sunday departures Weekly pay Quarterly fuel and safety bonuses Late-model Volvo and Kenworth automatic trucks — 2018 or newer What You'll Haul CDL A drivers primarily haul dry bulk agricultural products, including minerals, grains, meals, and fertilizers.
Walking Floor freight primarily includes:
Cotton Seed Hulls Wheat Midds DDGs Citrus WCS No Walking Floor experience? We will train you. Training is completed using your own assigned truck and trailer while hauling freight, so you are paid for the loads you haul during training. Orientation & Equipment Paid orientation is held at our Dade City, FL terminal and typically lasts 1-2 days. Orientation pay is $100-$150, depending on length. Trucks are equipped with APUs and inverters. Drivers are responsible for providing their own refrigerator, microwave, TV, and other personal equipment if desired. No passengers are permitted, and trucks do not have passenger seats. Drivers are required to keep a working CB radio, steel-toe boots, basic tool kit, garbage bags, and long-handled shop broom in the truck.
