Job Description

Conen's Freight Transport, Inc. operates island wide on the Big Island of Hawaii. Interested in working for a reputable company that strives on providing customers with excellent service then apply now. We are looking for reliable CDL Drivers both Class A and Class B to safely transport cargo to customers on the island. We have positions open in Hilo and Kona.

Insurance and Legal Shield Duties:
Tender cargo safely and promptly from origin to destination Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Driver Logs and Delivery Tags must be completed and turned in daily Communicate and follow assignment given from the dispatcher and manager Pre-trip Inspections done daily Maintain Company Equipment Operate Company Equipment safely and with care Report any shortages and damages immediately and make exceptions upon acceptance when necessary. Verify load with your Delivery Tags and make sure your loads are safely secured before transporting. Follow safety polices to prevent injury and/or damage Use Personal Protective Equipment when required to prevent injury. Able to work independently and work well with co-workers. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Honesty and Integrity is a must. Must comply with all
DOT Regulations Requirements:
Current/valid CDL A or CDL B Hawaii Drivers License HAZMAT Endorsement (not necessary to have to apply but must be willing to obtain this endorsement within two months if offered a position) Current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card Current Medical Examiners Certificate for
