In this vibrant role, you will coordinate and lead engaging tours, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, informed, and inspired. Whether managing groups in outdoor settings or delivering captivating storytelling, you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive guest rapport. Duties Lead and manage tour groups with enthusiasm, ensuring safety and enjoyment throughout the experience Deliver engaging tour storytelling using effective presentation and communication skills to captivate guests Coordinate logistics for tours, including scheduling, route planning, and group management Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs, questions, and feedback promptly Maintain safety standards by applying wilderness safety protocols and first aid/CPR procedures when necessary Build rapport with guests through personalized interactions and cultural insights in multiple languages if applicable Conduct public speaking engagements to educate guests about local history, culture, or natural features Requirements Bilingual (Japanese and English) proficiency to communicate effectively with guests. Valid driver's license (CDL holders are welcome) Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding tour groups of varying sizes Experience in tour guiding or outdoor work environments preferred Strong public speaking and presentation skills to engage audiences confidently Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus to enhance guest interactions Proven ability to manage time efficiently while coordinating multiple aspects of tours Effective communication skills for storytelling techniques and educational teaching methods Experience in outdoor activities or adventure tourism is highly desirable
