Allied Transportation and Fleet Services is looking for a CDL A Truck Driver to join the team!

Summary:
The primary function of the CDL A Truck Driver is to transport ocean containers of general merchandise on a daily basis to and from the port. Pre and Post checks are conducted daily. The CDL A Truck Driver will report to work as scheduled, work all hours as specified, and able to operate tractor, trailer loads, box truck w/ lift gate and flat bed trucks. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure timely delivery to customers and accurate fulfillment of orders. $28/hr is starting pay for applicants with at least 6 month driving experience. However, the salary of applicants with greater experience is negotiable.
Duties:
Operate CDL A tractor and drive with the highest level safety and efficiency. Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policies regarding driving. Transporting merchandise across various delivery routes in a timely manner. Report any defects or problems encountered during delivery delivery to dispatcher immediately. Complete/ driver assigned paperwork as required for each delivery. Perform daily pre-trip inspection and post trip inspection and report any defects/issues to management immediately.
