250 Alamaha Street, S-1, Kahului, HI 96732 (off Alamaha Street in the building behind Goodwill) Position Overview We are hiring CDL Drivers (Class A or B) to support airport operations in Maui. This is a local driving position at the airport and facility , supporting aircraft loading and ground operations. $32.00/hour + $1,250 sign-on bonus Main Duties & Responsibilities Load equipment onto trucks at the facility Drive CDL trucks to and from aircraft at the local airport Load galleys according to customer and airline guidelines Unload dirty equipment and transport waste to designated facility areas Follow all safety and sanitation regulations Communicate with airline representatives at aircraft Follow directions and work as part of the transportation team Perform additional duties as assigned by management Technical Skills Valid U.S. driver's license CDL Class A or Class B required Some locations may require a Customs Seal from airport authority Language / Communication Skills Ability to read and write to complete required forms Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers Requirements Must be available for assigned schedule, which may include weekends and holidays Overtime required as needed Must arrive to work on time Must comply with company policies Ability to complete paperwork and administrative duties Work Environment Exposure to temperature changes, noise, and outdoor conditions Majority of work performed outside in all weather conditions Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs frequently Standing, bending, and moving throughout 8+ hour shifts Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet depending on aircraft Benefits of Joining Gate Gourmet Free on-site cafeteria with hot meals Free parking Free uniforms and laundering Weekly pay (with pay card option) Employee referral bonuses Company-sponsored $10k life insurance (plus optional additional coverage) Vacation and sick time after 1 year Holiday pay after 1 year Recognition programs and rewards Medical, dental, vision, disability options 401(k) with company match (up to 3%) Employee Assistance Program Discounts with T-Mobile and other vendors American Airlines Credit Union membership Union Notice Schedule flexibility is required.
