Job Description
Job description: Salaried Class A Truck Driver - Home Weekends. Out on the road M-F (typically 4 nights out per week). No sleeping in the truck, we pay for hotels! This person will deliver across the USA and Canada. This position is eligible for a yearly bonus based on miles driven. All business expenses including gas, vehicle maintenance, nightly lodging, and all meals are paid for by the company. You will have your own company credit card. We provide an excellent benefits package including: Three weeks of vacation time per year On call Thanksgiving, Christmas, and 4th of July weeks. 401K with match up to 3% Company paid life insurance Company paid AD&D insurance Medical and dental insurance Company paid short-term and long-term disability coverage Education reimbursement, 9 paid holidays, bonus eligibility and much more. Responsibilities will include both dedicated routes and expedited shipments for the delivery of new and rebuilt parts while returning used parts for repair. Delivery area will be the US and Canada. The typical work week would be Monday thru Friday; you will be home 5 out of 6 weekends. It will require both non-driving days as well as pickup and delivery services with typically 4 overnights per week and an average of 8 hours on-duty time per workday while operating a two-ton flatbed truck or tractor-trailer, logging 1000-2200 miles within DOT regulations. A company credit card and cell phone are provided. Credit reward points earned are for personal use. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 1 year's parts delivery route driving experience and a Class A CDL license. Must have customer service experience including relationship building skills.
