What You'll Do Every day looks a little different, but your responsibilities may include: Safely complete scheduled pickup and delivery routes in a timely manner Load, secure, and transport donated merchandise, including furniture and other large items Build positive relationships with thrift partners by providing outstanding customer service Assist with route planning to maximize efficiency and productivity Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Maintain accurate route logs, fuel records, and transportation documentation Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient product flow Identify opportunities to improve routes and operational processes Follow all transportation, OSHA, and safety regulations What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative team.
Qualified candidates will have:
High school diploma or GED Valid Iowa driver's license with a clean driving record At least 18 years of age One year of route driving or delivery experience preferred Warehouse or logistics experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to learn inventory and logistics software Ability to obtain and maintain OSHA forklift certification Physical Requirements This position is active and hands-on.
