Job Description

Position Specifics Department:
Service Reports to: Service Manager / Store Manager Purpose Operates vehicles to transport equipment for dealership. Responsibilities Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed Maintains activity records and obtains necessary signatures and receipts Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products Keep all facilities neat and organized including the shop, parts, and showroom. Keep the lot neat and organized Lawn Mowing and snow removal. All other duties assigned by Management.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
1+ year of experience pulling a gooseneck, tilt, or utility trailer; experience as a semi-truck operator Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment Experience working cooperatively in a team environment Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required Valid driver's license required; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Page Break
