Job Description
Job Overview Join our team as a Propane Delivery Driver and become a vital part of delivering essential energy solutions to our valued customers. In this role, you will operate specialized trucks to safely transport and deliver propane and other hazardous materials across various routes, ensuring timely and accurate service. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to excellent customer service will drive our success and keep communities powered. Duties Safely operate propane delivery trucks, including tractor-trailers, tanker trucks, and flatbeds, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.. Plan and execute delivery routes utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient route driving across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Transport hazardous materials safely, ensuring compliance with all hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols. Deliver to residential, commercial, and industrial customers with precision and professionalism. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and incident reports in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with team to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Assist in truck loading and unloading processes, ensuring cargo is secured properly for safe transportation. Follow all safety procedures related to manual handling, truck loading/unloading, and hazardous materials handling to prevent accidents or spills.
