CDL Residential Garbage Truck Driver - Rural Routes Snake River Dispose-All Inc. - Blackfoot, Idaho Full-Time | Year-Round | Local Routes |
Home Every Night Starting Pay:
$18.00/hour during training - DOE Snake River Dispose-All Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking CDL driver to run residential garbage routes throughout rural Bingham County and surrounding areas. We are a local, family-owned and operated company that has been serving East Idaho for three generations. We are looking for someone who shows up, works hard, takes care of their truck, and can be trusted to get their route done safely and correctly. This is a full-time, year-round position with local routes. No long-haul driving and no overnight travel. What You'll Be Doing Driving and operating a residential garbage truck on rural routes Completing your assigned route safely and efficiently Picking up residential garbage carts Driving rural roads, county roads, residential areas, and driveways Getting in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections Keeping your truck clean and taking care of assigned equipment Reporting mechanical, route, or customer issues to the office Communicating with the office when problems come up on your route Providing good service to our customers Working safely in all types of Idaho weather and road conditions What We're Looking For Class B CDL or higher is
REQUIRED.
We're looking for someone who: Has a Class B CDL or higher Has a valid DOT medical card Has a good driving record Is dependable and shows up on time Is comfortable driving a large truck on rural roads Can work independently without needing constant supervision Can stay on schedule and get the job done Is willing to work outside in heat, cold, rain, snow, and changing road conditions Takes care of company trucks and equipment Is looking for steady, long-term employment Previous garbage truck experience is a plus, but not required . Experience driving commercial trucks, operating heavy equipment, farming, construction, delivery, or similar work is also a plus. Pay Starting at $18.00/hour during training - DOE (Depending on Experience). Pay may increase based on experience, performance, and ability to independently and reliably run assigned routes.
