Job Description
North Idaho Timber Company, LLC North Idaho Timber Company is seeking an experienced and dependable Lowboy Truck Driver to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, operates safely, and has experience hauling heavy equipment in demanding logging environments. Responsibilities Safely transport logging and heavy equipment to and from job sites throughout North Idaho. Load and unload heavy equipment onto lowboy trailers using proper securement procedures. Navigate forest roads and remote logging sites while maintaining safe driving practices. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs. Ensure all loads comply with DOT regulations and logging industry safety standards. Complete required DOT logs, inspections, and other necessary documentation. Work closely with equipment operators and logging crews to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of truck and trailer. Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A required). Experience operating a lowboy trailer and hauling heavy equipment. Experience driving on logging roads and in remote forest environments. Knowledge of proper heavy equipment loading, securement, and unloading procedures. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe operating practices. Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the crew. Reliable, safety-minded, and dependable.
