Overview Join our team as a Local Shuttle Driver and become the vital link that keeps our community moving smoothly and efficiently! In this energetic role, you will operate a semi truck with reefer trailers along designated local routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of frozen products. Your dedication to excellent customer service and adherence to traffic regulations will help create a positive experience for everyone in our community. Duties Safely operate shuttle semi trucks in local routes, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of trips, reefer temperatures, and vehicle condition reports to ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with manager, providing route information or addressing any concerns professionally. Follow GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals at designated stops while managing dynamic traffic conditions efficiently. Assist with the cleaning of trailers to ensure timely loading and unloading at warehouses. Experience Prior experience as a driver with a valid class A CDL. Proven ability to operate a semi trailer confidently and safely, both manual 10-13 speed and automatics. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize trip efficiency. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to a CDL drivers local driving routes. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Experience performing routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. Ability to handle physical tasks including disconnecting and connecting of reefer trailers at local warehouses. Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per weekBenefits:
