Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver and end dump driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, debris, and other bulk freight to various job sites and disposal locations. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety standards, and efficient load handling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects while maintaining a focus on safety and precision. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks with manual transmission and other specialized vehicles transport aggregates efficiently. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like hydraulic systems, ensuring secure handling of cargo. Drive along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations to deliver materials promptly. Perform routine inspections of trucks before and after trips, checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire condition, and safety features. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules or any operational issues. Follow all safety protocols related to driving heavy machinery Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Proven truck driving experience in freight delivery, route driving, or construction-related transportation. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles; familiarity with dump trucks and aggregates Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and truck operation. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy. Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading.
