DOE (Depending on Experience) About the Position Idaho Specialty Storage & Distribution is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position combines local delivery responsibilities with warehouse operations, making it ideal for an individual who enjoys a variety of tasks and takes pride in providing excellent service to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with warehouse operations, loading/unloading of trucks, and supporting customer service needs. Key Responsibilities Driving Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles with 5 years' experience in local deliveries. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous products in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Ensure proper load securement and placarding of hazardous materials. Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain required documentation. Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations. Maintain assigned company vehicles in a clean, safe condition at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Warehouse Responsibilities Warehouse forklift and electric Pallet Jack operating experience. Receive, stock, organize, and pull customer orders accurately. Work safely with hazardous materials following company procedures and required training. Enter and maintain data within the company computer system. Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred). Assist with answering phones and providing customer service when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Participate in on-call weekend and after-hours support as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with commercial driving experience required. Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement preferred, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Forklift experience required; certification is a plus. Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft word, excel, email and data entry. Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends and be available for on call/afterhours duties as needed to fulfill customer requirements. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
