Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Asphalt CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate commercial trucks and paving equipment to transport and deliver asphalt, concrete, and other construction materials to various job sites. Your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely completion of paving projects, supporting our commitment to high-quality infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a thorough understanding of safety regulations to uphold our safety-first culture. Duties Operate commercial trucks, including dump trucks and concrete mixers, in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols. Transport asphalt, and other materials to construction sites efficiently while maintaining vehicle safety standards. Assist with paving operations by operating paving equipment such as screeds and loaders to ensure smooth asphalt application. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and construction machinery to guarantee optimal performance. Collaborate with project teams on site to coordinate material deliveries, rebar installation, and concrete forming tasks. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, equipment usage, and safety checks for project records. Adhere strictly to safety regulations and site protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Willingness to assist in asphalt labor on site Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, pavers, and screeds. Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with bituminous materials, asphalt paving techniques, and concrete work including finishing and forming. Understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation. Strong working knowledge of safety regulations applicable on construction sites. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities. Prior experience working on civil infrastructure projects involving paving, concrete pouring, or site preparation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
