Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to support our operations during our busy season. In this role, you will safely transport fresh and frozen products to restaurants, retailers, and other customers while maintaining product quality and providing excellent service.
Perform necessary vehicle safety inspections for the vehicle.
Drive and deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route. Ensure the vehicle is properly secured during drop-offs. Load and unload products from the vehicle using a dolly or other appropriate devices safely.
Verify delivery of items with the customer and obtain proper signatures confirming receipt of the product.
Contact management to discuss issues or concerns as they arise throughout the workday.
Perform all post-delivery actions, including unloading damaged product, customer returns, and completing any necessary documents.
Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations during the operation of the truck and handling of the product.
Monitor and ensure that temperature-controlled vehicles maintain required temperature limits to ensure product quality.
Develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and goodwill by providing professional assistance and by demonstrating an interest in the customers needs. Report any complaints to the supervisor.
Collect money from customers and properly record transactions on company documentation, including invoices. Ensure that payment (cash, checks, etc.) is properly secured.
Ensure that safety training is current as per company policy.
Supports the Fleet Manager by ensuring that vehicles are maintained according to schedule and records are current and correct.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience One to two years of commercial driving experience. Transportation of temperature-controlled product experience preferred.
Customer Service Friendly, outgoing, and courteous customer service demeanor. Work ethic A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time-sensitive deadlines with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Licensing - Must have a valid drivers license Environmental Available to work long shifts and Saturdays.
Language Basic English-speaking proficiency.
A combination of the above will also be considered.

Summary of Position:
The Delivery Driver will deliver and unload various company products, including, but not limited to, seafood, beef, poultry, and gourmet products. Moreover, the utmost care will be applied in handling the companys perishable products in accordance with HACCP.Responsibilities:
