(Department of Transportation) regulations Full Job Description Wismettac is looking for a professional, safety-minded CDL Driver to be the face of our company. You aren't just moving freight; you're building relationships and ensuring our high-quality products reach our customers safely and on time.

Location:

Carol Stream, IL Pay:

Starting at $31.00 per hour. Eligible for Quarterly Driver incentive.

Shift:

Full-time Monday-Fri (Michigan Routes) / Tuesday-Saturday (Kentucky Routes)

Over-the Road Driving:

Territories covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and local Chicago area. Why Join Us?

Occasional interstate and out-of-state deliveries for those who love the variety of the open road (trips usually 2-4 days).

The Role:

You will operate heavy-duty delivery trucks (avg 26,000 lbs), managing established routes and providing top-tier service to our clients.

Efficient Delivery:

Navigate routes safely in various weather and traffic conditions.

Customer Connection:

Deliver products, and maintain positive client relationships.

Precision & Safety:

Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (E-logs).

Hands-on Logistics:

Load and unload merchandise (up to 50 lbs) and assist in warehouse operation when needed.

What you need:

The License:

Valid CDL with a solid driving record.

The Physical:

Ability to handle strenuous physical work, including lifting, pulling, pushing 50+ lbs and maneuvering in/out of the cab.

The Mindset:

Knowledge of DOT regulations and a "safety-first" attitude.

The Flexibility:

Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends to beat the traffic and meet customer needs.

The Tech:
