Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Tow Truck Operator to join our team and ensure the safe, efficient, and professional transportation of vehicles. In this role, you will operate flatbed and wheel lift tow trucks to assist with body shops, local municipalities, accidents, and stranded motorists to transport vehicles from various locations. This position is for our 7 AM - 3 PM shift or 12PM - 8PM shift. We also require rotational weekends at least once a month. Responsibilities Operate flatbed tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently (Light and medium duty vehicles not exceeding 26,000 pounds). Conduct vehicle inspections prior to towing to assess condition and identify potential issues. Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring proper securing methods are followed to prevent damage during transit. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and shops, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, non-CDL Class C highly preferred. Ability to operate both flatbed tow truck and wheel lift/wrecker is required. Familiarity with flatbed towing equipment, ability to tow doubles if necessary (Using flatbed and wheel lift) and dolly use as required. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Any towing certifications and mechanical experience are a plus
Pay:
$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
